Resumo:
Teaching requires
a great deal of the teacher and causes discomfort because many
teachers work in more than one school. In addition, the requirements increase over their
responsibility. So it is important to reflect on the reality of these professionals .
Therefore, we investigated if the teachers have been absent from their work in day care
institutions because of health problems and what are the attitudes of the Secretary of
E ducation of the city of Cajazeiras/PB regarding this. We also analyze the relationship
between teacher's working conditions and the effects of these conditions on their health.
We describe how they perform their activities and identify the main challenges of the
category. We also investigated how teachers adapt to new educational trends and their
respective demands. To conduct this research, we used studies of Tardif (2009), Libâneo
(2007), Codo (1999), Freire (1996), Nóvoa (1995), RCNEI BRAZIL , 1998), Soares
(2008), Bauer (2 010) and Schwalm (2012), which study the subject in question and help
us understanding it. The survey was conducted between the months of October and
November 2013. There were interviewed 21 teachers who work in f our municipal . The
research techniques used were the questionnaire and the semi structured interview. The
results showed the necessity for formulation of projects that pay attention to the needs
of these professionals , since some of them affirmed they have been absent from work
due to illness and o thers said feel dissatisfied and misunderstood in their teaching
practice
