Abstract:
This monograph work aimed to analyze the difficulties of learning in the process
reading and writing in the early years of elementary school. For this study we used a
literature search and a field survey, and was used as an instrument of date collection
an interview with three teachers and six students of a municipal school of the City of
São José de Piranhas / PB. In order to understand the considerable number of
children who fail to learn to read and write in the early years of elementary school.
This problem will be extended to later years because of the continued progression
model adopted by most schools. The study allows to reach the following conclusion:
that there are numerous that reasons cause learning difficulties and thus to solve
these problems will require a joint effort of the entire school staff, so that at the end of
each year the student acquired the minimum and necessary skills that require for
entry into subsequent years. During this work it is concluded that teacher need to
systematize their work trying to create multiple and exercising offerings, providing an
immersion the world of reading and writing.
