Resumen:
The study adresses the difficulties of the students in reconciling work and study in
higher education, leading in consideration need to understand these students and
their experiences. In this sense, emerged as goals investigate how students from the
Pedagogy conciliate work with the life student; map the access and permanence os
students we spaces university; ascertain the level yield these students; check the
level of stress presented for these learners; and identify the key challenges faced in
reconciling work and study. The chosen locus for the research was the campus of
University Federal in Campina Grande in Cajazeiras-PB with Pedagogy course
studentes, night shift, with different labor occupations. The reseach was developed
through a literature review on the subject from the literature of books and articles,
complemented by a field research of a descriptive qualitative approach, thereby to
seek to answer the objectives proposed in this work. The instrument used for data
collection was a half structured interview applied as with five students, selected
periods of diversified, allowing a full and varied transcript of the respondentes to the
process of data analysis. The results revealed that even in the face of so many
difficulties, the worker student seeks the maximum overcome adversity, abdicating
some of your social life, to ensure access to a solid education and career
advancement. For this, it is necessary to reflect on the admission process,
permanence and host oh these working studentes in universities, seeking a renewal
of the methods, practices and laws that include and give support to this these
students in academic life. Therefore, the study of this theme is to contribute to the
discussion about the integration of these working students in universities, in order to
understand their students experiences, reflecting on daily life in the field of study,
work, leisure, family and health of these students.
