Resumo:
This monographic work had like general objective to analyze innovative pedagogical practices of readers from an elementary public school located in Bernardino Batista-PB. We proceeded in a study that investigates how the practices of innovative reading in the classroom take place in the early years of elementary school. The specific objectives were: To know the principles that led managers to foment an innovative practice in reading; To present the innovative pedagogical practices in the reading of a 5th grade class of elementary school; Describe the teaching materials used by the teacher in the reading process; To understand the teacher’s role mediation in the teaching process of reading the pedagogical practices of this school. A qualitative approach field survey (LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 1986) was used; the instrument used in the data collection was the semi-structured interview and the observation. The subjects of the research were the principal, the pedagogical coordinator and two teachers of the initial years of elementary education in the classes 5th grade of the mentioned school. The results analyzed was supported by (BARDIN, 1977). The study allows new perspectives, permitting to conclude that a readers’ school is possible, but it is necessary that the school work together in union to concretize it. Wherefore, it is verified that the objectives mentioned for the study were reached, as the research cycle is concluded, promoting the production of current and innovative knowledge for the contribution of new analyzes.
