Resumo:
It is lived in an age of many social problems, of diverse intolerances and violence. Transit is a
current social problem, where everyone is fully involved in the natural need to move around
every day. In this sense, the aim of this study was to plan, analyze and execute activities
regarding traffic education in a primary school classroom, in a public school, localized in the
city of São Bento do Trairi/RN. This is a qualitative and descriptive research, divided in three
stages: practice-theory-practice and had as instruments of data collection the participant
observation with annotations and photographic records, as well as reports of 36 students from
an 8th grade class of primary education and the research period was from April to June 2018.
The first stage of the results was to the problematization stage, in which they were divided
into three practical classes, the second stage was the development of content, in which
through two classes were worked on the theorization of the subject, and finally the third stage
the transformation of attitudes that were outside and within the classroom were carried out
activities developed by students, putting into practice the previous stages, the results point to
the feasibility of the topic and didactic organization. The conclusions were favorable to the
development of the theme in the school.
