Libertação ou assombração: as botijas de “Dananinha” em Várzea da Ema-PB (2010-2014).

Abstract

This work deals with the history of the calls of Dananinha’s canisters (Ana Saraiva de Freitas) as facts that had their outcome in the district of Várzea da Ema, located in Alto Sertão Paraibano in the years 2010 and 2014. News about cruse realize that such fact that seemed to be relegated to the times of old or older, however, the events of 2010 and 2014 that we treat are restoring the order of the day the issue of permanence of canisters in the collective imagination of the region. Which is why we have proposed to take the theme "Dananinha’s Canister" as our object of discussion and research. As methodology will make use of reports and oral testimony of the residents of the district of Várzea da Ema. So how do the intersection of these oral sources with the teachings of the catholic church. Other scriptures about religion, popular beliefs and on bottles will become necessary to montarmos our field of explanations and approach of this story. The objective of this work is to analyze the belief in the bottlenecks and the stories considered as "trancoso" of the now district of Várzea da Ema, municipality of Santa Helena, state of Paraíba.
