Résumé:
When considering the scope of action of the pedagogue, it is immediately thought of
their possibilities of work in the school context. However, there are other, less well
known, spheres of action in which these professionals can also work and contribute.
Therefore, this work sought to know how the pedago-gas can act in the CAPS, which
consist of spaces in which, by law, these professionals must be inserted, working in a
perspective different from that seen in schools, which consist of spaces in which his
figure is already associated with a certain profile of performance. The objective of the
study, therefore, was to understand the possibilities of the pedagogue in the CAPS of
the municipalities of Curimataú Paraíba. Methodologically, it was based on a
qualitative research perspective, which included visits to the CAPS of the
municipalities of Cuité, Barra de Santa Rosa and Picuí, as well as semi-structured
interviews with the pedagogies who worked on them. From the analysis of interview
content, it was verified that much of the work of these professionals in the CAPS
involves the use of pedagogical practices and activities - such as reading and
literacy, literacy, music therapy and pedagogical workshops, for example - that aim to
promote the development of global skills among users. The professionals also
emphasized the importance of the participation of patients in these activities and the
repercussion of this in their recovery, as well as the team's performance in a
multiprofessional perspective in the social reintegration of users of the CAPS and
their families, contributing, finally, to a life dignified and autonomous for them.
