Resumo:
This study aimed to investigate the practices of teachers in the municipality of Lavras da Mangabeira in the state of Ceará with regard to the use of music as a pedagogical support in kindergarten, from the investigation of the possible contributions of the same for the teaching-learning students process. At first it was discussed the question of early childhood education, design of Childhood, followed by aspects of music history and its importance to the cognitive, affective and social development, coupled with the influence of the same in everyday life and in the students' learning process. We approach the prospect of training / a teacher / a generally and in kindergarten, culminating with the presentation of data collected from conducting a field survey, contributed the application of a questionnaire with 08 questions, which are open and closed, applied to ten teachers. We finish with considerations arising from the analysis of data collected in order to understand the importance of using music in education as a tool capable of providing both teachers and significant contribution students for learning and pleasure and dynamic knowledge, learn playing so linking issues of content to be studied more relaxed way, so that education becomes more innovative in the development of their skills.
