Resumo:
This research has as theme the reflection about Youth and Adult Education (Educação de Jovens e Adultos - EJA) in the city of Lastro, Paraíba, Brazil, and as a major goal, analyze the history of education in this modality. The participants were a total of seventeen students of the 2nd year of high school of EJA mode State School Nestorina Abrantes. The research seeks to analyze how students perceive this school and what they think about the discipline of History at EJA. We trace a quick profile of this audience about work, dreams, family, thus contributing to a better understanding. Data were collected through a questionnaire with closed and open questions. The analysis tells us that students like the discipline of History, but must use teaching methods that foster the process of teaching and learning construction, taking into account the mode of adult education.
