Resumo:
This study starts from a reflection focused on Rural Education. It seeks to identify some of the difficulties faced in the pedagogical practices of multi-grade teaching, to obtain positive results in the teaching-learning process of students. Its research loci are the Gabriel Lucindo Pereira School, located in Azevém District, rural area of Cajazeiras-PB. The theoretical basis came from a discussion about the issue in question in the works of Arroyo, Caldart and Molina (2004), Leite (1999), Fernandes (2006), among others. In order to reflect on the educational challenges in multi-grade education and to apprehend factors that interfere with this type of education, we sought the following authors: Santos (2014), Toledo (2006), Hage (2006) and Klein & Ribeiro (1991). In addition, we use as source the Operational Guidelines for Basic Education in schools in Campo. We also consider the absence of the State from these issues and the need to build these schools, such as the school of the District of Azevém, since the emergence of schools in rural areas came through social movements organized by the residents themselves. to ensure their children's education. The research was developed through a descriptive and exploratory methodology in the referred school.
