Resumen:
Women's health care fully in pregnancy is a cycle of paramount importance in any pregnancy process, a humanized care with attention based on the practical and theoretical knowledge properly provided can bring well-being and self-confidence to the whole process. In this sense, this study aims to analyze, from publications in scientific journals, the relationship between prenatal care and humanization, with an emphasis on nursing. This is an integrative review of the literature, based on Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO) data. "Humanization AND Nursing", "Prenatal and Humanization", "Nursing AND Prenatal" and "Nursing AND Prenatal and Humanization" were used as a search strategy. As inclusion criteria, the articles available in full in the period of 05 years (2013-2018) were all delimited in Portuguese. The sample was constituted at the end of the search for 09 articles. The studies point out the importance of an effective and humanized care for women in the pregnancy period through prenatal consultations, some studies show that a positive point in these visits is the professional's empathy towards the patient, in contrast some show that there is little adequacy according to the national humanization policy, and there should be the development of permanent education with professionals, managers and involved addressing this point as a discussion. Faced with these proofs, it is understood that the humanization employed in the correct way can not only improve the service but also favor the professional-patient relationship. Thus, it is believed that this study will contribute to arouse the interest of the others, in relation to the theme, with positive relevance.
