Resumo:
This research aims to discuss sexual education based on the experiences and training of undergraduate students in pedagogy at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). It is inserted in the field of qualitative research. As for the methodological procedures, the data collection was done by means of a semi-structured interview with 04 (four) graduating in pedagogy participating in the course "Sexual Education and Citizenship: Continuing Education for Teachers (a) graduating (s) "and by participant observation during the course, allowing me to know their personal experiences and professional training, regarding sexual education. The study concluded that the family space experiences in education since childhood influence the sexual education of the subjects, determining how they should behave, teaching the roles for "boys" and "girls", based on prohibitions, silencing, omission to talk about sexuality. At school, these discussions practically did not happen, and when they happened it was in an unscheduled way, reproducing the values that are instituted family. Regarding the professional formation, it was possible to perceive that the entrance of the graduates to the University was of great relevance, so that they could have knowledge about gender and sexual diversity, especially on the concepts and differences on sexual orientation , deconstructing and constructing meanings about sex education and breaking with standardized and / or rooted concepts.
