Resumo:
This work of research is titled: The teacher performance for implementation of Law nº
10.639/03 and the search of an education for equality and had as general
objective:Analyze the performance of educators in the Implementation of Law 10.639
/ 2003 in Childhood Education in the town of Cajazeiras - PB.The work in question it
is a qualitative research, through which will be understood and interpreted a reality,
taking into consideration the practices and conceptions of teachers about the theme
addressed.For data collection we used the observation and questionnaire.The
researchers were two teachers of Childhood Education of Pre I and II and the locus
of research took place in a Municipal school in Cajazeiras - PB.The work was
theoretical foundation authors as: Gomes (2005), Cavalleiro (2007), LDB (1996),
Pimenta (2004), Federal Constitution (1988), among others.Work that is divided into
two chapters: in the first we did a study about Law nº 10.639/03 and a brief
contextualization of this law, showing how it is seen by educators after its
effectuationand how it is being discussed the ethno-racialrelations within of the
school space.In the second chapter are the methodological procedures and analysis
of the data, in which we analyzed the conceptions that the teachers have about the
implementation of Law 10.639/03for the teaching and learning process of students,
as well as the practice of these educators in their classrooms, to the utilize on activity
and production and the explanation of texts that treat this thematic with the
children.We note that the work about racial issues, while important, is not turn
enough, because we must understand them as the result of a production that was
influenced throughout history and have been facing difficulties in the seeking
recognition and effectuation of Law Nº 10.639/03.
