Resumen:
The nutritionist, according to the Curriculum Guidelines of the Nutrition course must have a broad and general training, however, it is questioned if the Nutrition courses authorized by the Ministry of Education and Culture are reaching the objective of training with these characteristics. It becomes important to understand how training and professional practice has collaborated with the health of society over these years of training nutritionists. Given this, it is considered essential to understand the aspects that comprise the training of these professionals. Thus, the present study aims to understand the Nutrition Course of a campus of expansion of a federal institution of the interior of Paraíba from the look of the egress. For this, questionnaires were applied to the individuals who completed graduation at the university in question, in the daytime period, through the Google forms application, later the data analysis was performed, in which the quantitative data were analyzed by Google forms itself and the data were presented in a descriptive way. From the analysis we can observe the repetitiveness and absence of content during graduation, the perception about the distance between theory and practice in the disciplines, besides the difficulty of participation in extracurricular activities and the need to foster the deepening in subjects little seen, being nutrition related to sports, most reported by the insufficient approach in the course. Therefore, it is important to promote a discussion about the organization of the course, with the purpose of enabling a broad training, endowed with autonomy between the parties involved and that meets the real needs of the professional that one wishes to train.
