Both foods were analyzed in triplicate and tabulated using a Microsoft Excel 2010 spreadsheet, containing average, standard deviation and referenced home measurements, and food photographic records were made. It is possible to observe significant differences of the tabulated weights for those that already exist in the literature. This study aimed at the standardization of regional foods, so that the community has access to something safer, consisting of a catalog with images the size of utensils and food. Since there is a lack of standardization tables of specific home measures for the meat, poultry, fish and their derivatives food groups. It is evidenced the importance of this research for the general population and professionals in the area of Nutrition. It was concluded that the study achieved its objectives, however, it is necessary to carry out new studies for the home measures, as well as the creation of new catalogs with meat, poultry and fish, aiming to reach both the population and professionals in the area of nutrition.
