Resumo:
Faced with learning difficulties related to the field of reading and writing presented by some students of a public school in rural municipality of Picuí -PB , we seek to study and analyze the conceptions of reading and writing family guardians and students third year of elementary school , the prospect of discovering how it factors that influence the literacy and literacy process. Through a qualitative research approach taking as guiding questions caracterização do the social context of the school and the students involved , the recording and analysis about what families and students think about reading and writing , seeking to bridge these perspectives and theory. This all with the intention of contributing to the improvement of quality of education in public schools and reduce the linguistic needs of the students of the field .
