Resumen:
Introduction: In Brazil, the cinema has obtaining adepts in universities cineclubs, which are spaces where teachers and studens unite to watch and to debate, through movies relate or not with their degrees, but that provide social and cultural learning to the participants. Between these initiatives, the university extension project CineCidadania stands out, this amplifies the dialogue and learning possibilities besides the university space once that it proposes, in the form of itinerants cineclubs, movies exhibitions followed by community debates in the city of Cuité. Objective: To discuss the cinema utilization in the nutritionist formation as a pedagogic resource, through researcher vivencies, and to evaluate the importance and perception of subjects to the Project. Methodology: It is a qualitative research through action research method whose study actors were the researcher himself and the participants and debaters of CineCidadania itineraant project. The data collection used was camp field journal and interview technique for the semistructured questionnaires application to the study which refers to cine itinerant. Descriptive analysis was used for the data analysis and content analysis to analyze the semistructured questionnaires. Results: This study presents, through bibliographic studies, personal changings and researcher experiences in the university extension, the importance of the extension project to the university-community dialogue and to the interdisciplinary formation of students once that it promotes the debate concerning central issues from the interest of Brazilian society besides to expose the participants opinion regarding the project. Conclusion: In light of this, it its emphasized the dialogic, changing and educational functions of the project due to the creation of socialization spaces through cinema and concluding with participants debates that increase the democratic fundaments of Brazilian public universities.
