Resumo:
The present study aims to provide possibility of a better understanding about the subject "Fractional Numbers", tracing a historical overview through the redemption of the same relevant issues , emphasizing the methodology applied during the elementary school. Contributing to the demystification of the content, seeking to simplify the study of fractions , so as not to repeat mechanical processes of assimilation , but, bringing to the classroom situations covering real needs of students , contextualizing according to the reality of the same problems and situations to be worked on finding solutions , using techniques and fractional concepts that can be worked both in the classroom , as well as using extracurricular research, in other words, linked to the daily life of every student, the activities should be suggested by the teacher, using their methodological skills.
