Resumo:
Dynamising the teaching of history is a challenge that shows daily in the classroom and arousing the student‟s interest by the study of history is not always easy task. The heritage education can contribute in this sense inciting student to recognize and value historical patrimony that constitute the collective memory of his/her place. The Museu do Homem do Curimataú will be used in this research as stage to approximation of students with local history of Cuité borough, contributing to comprehension of historical sources from its collection, beyond sensitizing to the importance of patrimony preservation for the construction of the historical knowledge. Therefore, the realization of educational actions in the Museu do Homem do Curimataú aims to approximate students of the discussions about local history, leading them to know and recognize his/her history, the history of his/her place, his/her identity. Contributing in this way to the citizenship construction and attempting to the necessity of the patrimony preservation beyond recognition of the importance of the participations of all subjects in the historical construction process.
