Resumen:
In recent times the world scenario has passed through several changes due the advances of society, especially in the man-work relation, impacting in the working conditions and workers quality of life. With this, the present study aimed evaluate the Quality of Life at Work and the stress degree of nutritionist managers of Collective Nutrition Units. This was a quantitative-descriptive study realized in the form of a study case in May 2018 with 06 nutritionist managers (CPAE, Commercial Restaurant, UAN Hospital, UPR Industrial and University Restaurant). Four semi-structured questionnaires were realized approaching the socioeconomic profile, Quality of Life at Work (QWLQ-bref), Individual Lifestyle Profile (PEVI) and Occupational Stress Scale (EET). After the gathering, the data were tabulated and evaluated using descriptive statistics with Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPSS. In relation of Quality of Life at Work, we obtained satisfactory results regarding the perception of the general QLW, so it can be observed that the participants are satisfied with their quality of life at work. Regarding the profile of the individual lifestyle, a negative perception was observed for the Physical Exercise component, indicating sedentarism in the group; and in relation to Stress Control also obtained a negative perception, indicating that the participants still can not handle the stress factors of their daily routine, but obtained a positive classification for the components Nutrition, Relationships, Preventive Behavior, demonstrating a concern of the group with aspects of quality of life. Regarding occupational stress in the group, it was classified as low, even in strenuous working conditions. There was a concern in the studied group with the quality of life and the maintenance of work stress at acceptable levels. However, there is a need for further studies in relation to the subject addressed to the work of nutritionists.
