Résumé:
The theme of this work is indiscipline in schools, considered one of the difficulties
that teachers face from school beginnings to the present day. It has the general
objective to analyze the representation of teachers on the indiscipline of students in
the classroom. The theoretical framework is based on authors such as Tiba, Parrat-
Dayan, La Taille, Aquino and Antunes. This is a qualitative research, exploratory
whose data collection instrument a questionnaire with ten questions regarding the
profile of the subjects and six open issues related to the research objectives. The
sample consists of five teachers from three public schools in Cajazeiras - Paraíba
who teach in Teaching Primary I and Fundamental II. The inclusion criteria was is in
operation and be 18 years. For data analysis was used the content analysis
technique, with the construction of categories. The results show that the subjects
understand the indiscipline in the classroom as a problem related to lack of limits and
rules that originate in the family, too, as an obstacle to the teaching and learning
processes and dialogue with unruly students is difficult. The indiscipline is a problem
present in everyday school life of these educators, who are struggling to control the
undisciplined attitudes rebel students. It is up to educators seeking didactic
procedures to try to resolve, partially or fully, indiscipline in the classroom, involving
all the actors who are part of the school: parents, school administrators, teachers and
students themselves.
