Resumo:
This research presents reflections about Field Education and teaching in multi-series rooms at
the Clarindo Luís da Silva School, located in the Quixeramobim Site, São José de Piranhas-
PB municipality, which is located in the meso-region of Sertão Paraibano. A brief history
about Field Education in Brazil is discussed and it is observed that from the social
movements, some legalized achievements were achieved, guaranteeing rights to the rural
peoples. The objective is to discuss from the experiences, the reality about the effectiveness in
the teaching and learning process on the Field Education, as well as the teaching in the
multiseries and the initial and / or continued training of the teachers in the said school.
Knowing that the reality of rural people is a primary factor in the process of knowledge
construction and learning, teachers need to be able to work on these points, considering the
customs and experiences of each student. In this way, it is assumed that there are difficulties
for teachers to work in these schools and public policies do not always meet the real needs of
these professionals. With this, the research is characterized in a bibliographical approach,
field and documentary, with the use of observation and questionnaire assigned to three
teachers. In this way, the data analysis was done through graphs. Finally, it is expected that
this research can contribute significantly to the development of other field-oriented research,
especially for the teaching performance in the multiseries.
