Many are the difficulties faced by professionals in education for the development of more dynamic, participative classes and that develop the critical thinking of the students according to the purpose of teaching, especially the Natural Sciences. In view of this, the present work had as objective to present a methodological alternative through the construction and application of games in the perspective of Ecodesign using materials of low impact for the environment, low financial cost and easy access. The study was developed in E.E.I.F Antônio Landim de Macêdo, located in Aurora-CE, city with 25 students of the eighth grade and the Natural Sciences teacher. The methodology used consisted in the application of semi-structured questionnaires, teaching of theoretical classes, application of didactic games and the realization of a workshop for the construction of the games worked during the period of the intervention in the classroom. The quantitative and qualitative data obtained after the application of the proposed activities pointed to an interaction and participation of students present in the classroom indicating more interest in the contents worked. The analysis of the post-test questionnaire showed that the students approved the methodology of the games since it made the classes more dynamic and aided in the understanding of the contents. Therefore, it is concluded that the use of educational games is a way of easy application that allows the execution of differentiated and participative classes making the student an active member of the teaching / learning process.
