Resumo:
The present work is about the contributions of the Institutional Program of Initiation to
Teaching Grant (PIBID) for the quality of the teaching and learning process in the Escola
Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e Médio professor Crispim.
In order to achieve our goal, we used bibliographical research as well as methodologies
developed for the school, after the application of a questionnaire pre-elaborated by the then
area coordinator Ms. Aldo Oliveira, who assigned us to apply them in the students Of the
classes of 8th and 9th grade B elementary school, afternoon shift and in the community
around the school.
The application of these questionnaires lasted two days and from the diagnosis made later the
responses fomented in the questionnaires, we elaborated methodologies that would contribute
to a satisfactory learning in the teaching of Geography, such as the use of music, films,
models and posters , Which resulted in actions aimed at improving students' learning, building
the knowledge and increasing their participation during the lessons administration. Our
participation took place between the months of March 2014 and May 2016, during which time
we were part of the project, in the said school, located in the municipality of Cajazeiras,
mesoregion of the sertão of Paraíba.
