Resumo:
This research aims to analyze the Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), created and based on the principles established in the LDB/1996 and incorporated in Ordinance No. 438 of 28 May 1998 of the Ministério da Educação e Desportos (MEC). Therefore, the focus of the research is to analyze matters relating to the discipline of History present in ENEM 2010 to 2015. This is the time frame because in 2010 three of the largest public universities in the State of Paraíba joined the ENEM, fully or partially, as an evaluation system for entry into their courses. The research aims to analyze how the ENEM was thought, the implications about its production, the impact of their implementation in education and what it means to be an evaluation system in the neoliberal context. In this sense, the documents used for the research were the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs), the Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação (LDB) and the History tests of ENEM in the years 2010 to 2015. We analyzed especially the History tests which corresponded to the proposed period, discussing the possible changes and continuities in the proposed ENEM.
