Résumé:
The present research aims to verify the contribution of the games in the teaching of trigonometry. We base this work on research by Lorenzato (2006), Grando (2000), Smole et al (2008), Brougére (2002), Almeida (2009), Brito (2016), among many others who talk about the use of Mathematics Teaching. The research was developed in the qualitative research modality. The fieldwork was carried out in a State School of the State of Paraíba with the intention of working the use of the games in the teaching of trigonometry in view of the difficulties presented in such content by a class of 2nd year of regular high school. In researching the conceptions of various authors on the subject, we identified some direct limitations regarding the use of games, that we cannot use it in all classes or content, and of indirect order, such as the requirement of a greater time of planning and elaboration of resources for their use in the classroom. Regarding the possibilities, we highlight the socialization in group work, a more active and reflective student in relation to the teaching- learning of mathematics and a more active participation in the teacher-student relationship.
