Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to present an account of a didactic sequence about Special
and General Relativity applied in a School of the State Education Network. Located in
the city of Bonito de Santa Fé / PB, this work developed in a group of 3rd Year - High
School, which belongs to the ninth Regional Education Management by the region of
Cajazeiras / PB. In the course of this, the importance of how to introduce Special and
General Relativity in High School will be presented, considering that it is a subject
almost not seen by the students of the city, this in a language at medium level,
proposing new steps for the use of new methods of teaching physics in order to motivate
students, since traditional teaching no longer meets expectations for a world of change.
The teaching of Relativity in Basic Education is based on a constructivist perspective
that has aroused great interest in physicists, regarding the use of previous knowledge.
The report of the stage presents a relation of the Modern Physics with technological
applications, having as a survey of previous conceptions of the students being the
starting point for the teaching strategies, the use of analogies was realized through
simulators available for free.
