Resumo:
The teaching of Cytology is taught in the 1st Year of High School. For many students this subject is considered difficult to approach abstract contents, the restricted use of theoretical classes with the aid of the textbook can also make it difficult for students to understand and learn. For this reason, it is necessary to use other didactic teaching strategies, such as: experimental classes and playfulness. This work was developed during the period of four classes in a class of 1st Year of High School of the Orlando Venâncio dos Santos State High School in Cuité interior of Paraíba, with the objective of developing dynamic and playful teaching methods in the field of Cytology, which facilitate the learning of the students and assist the teachers in the task of teaching. This research had a quantitative-qualitative approach, where its data were obtained through pre and post-test questionnaires applied to the students, as well as at the end of each class using Likert type satisfaction assessment, besides the application of a Questionnaire for the classroom biology teacher. The results showed that the teaching strategies used were satisfactory contributing efficiently in the construction of knowledge.
