Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze aspects of the local historiography of the city of São José de Piranhas-PB, notably focusing on local commerce and explaining the importance of Bodegas as the main element of the city, which has long moved the foundations of social life and culture. of the economy of the place. In this way, we study the available bibliographic sources about the city and about commerce, also discussing a bibliography about global commerce as a support to think the local, besides the speech of a city dweller who had a relevant role regarding Bodegas. (place of marketing). The research was referenced by: Barros, Cezário, Donner, among others. Thus, the text built here is the result of a simple look at a little of the history of the wineries in São José de Piranhas-PB, spoken by his José Cezário Sobrinho, whose speech made us understand the understanding of the winery as a space for marketing, based on relationships of trust, solidarity and often voluntary product exchanges.
