Abstract:
Green Chemistry, also known as clean chemistry is a type of pollution prevention
caused by activities in the field of chemistry. Aiming to include this subject in the
discipline of topics in environmental chemistry, applied a previous questionnaire and a
crusade to evaluate students' learning about Green Chemistry. Seeking to introduce
Green Chemistry in classes of topics in environmental chemistry, in order to
contemplate aspects that take into account human health and the environment. It was
applied a class that began with the history of "Green Chemistry" showing related topics
such as concepts, evolution, principles, applications and the use of catalysts,
questionnaires and a cross word were applied. From the analysis of the results, it can be
concluded that the majority of the students conceptualized the Green Chemistry,
showing an understanding about the context and its use, as well as it can improve the
learning of the same ones. The development of the ludic aspect facilitates learning,
personal, social and cultural development, as for the crossword puzzle students showed
a lot of interest.
