Abstract:
Introduction: The Nursing Care Systematization (NCS) is considered an essential tool for the development of care, thus, a systematic, organized method used in nursing practice that identifies needs, proposes interventions and evaluates care outcomes performed. The nursing documentation is important to the healthcare team, and to the patient as it contains information about all the care provided to the patient. Objective: to investigate how the use of information technology contributes to the implementation of the nursing care systematization. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the literature. Which has as guiding question: How does the use of information technology contributes to the implementation of the Nursing Care Systematization? The research data were collected through the databases Scielo, PubMed, Scopus, Lilacs, with the following descriptors: nursing, nursing process, information technology and later were selected 11 articles to achieve the objectives proposed in the research. Results: A quantitative analysis of the selected articles was carried out, regarding the title, degree and institution of origin of the first author and objectives of the study. After the qualitative analysis, the following categories were constructed: software development using classification systems and facilitating factors and difficulties for the implementation of computerization in nursing care. Final Considerations: This research can contributes satisfactorily to the scientific community and health professionals, so that it encourages and increases the production of studies in the area of computerization in the NCS.
