Resumo:
The motivation has become an important topic in public administrations or private, as well as
people management skills and to search for satisfactory results linked to the welfare of
employees and maintenance organizations. Keeping employees motivated public service over
time, this is the biggest challenge for management. This paper aims to analyze the level of
motivation of employees in the administrative sector of the Health Department of the City of
Serra Branca-PB. As a research methodology, this case study is exploratory and descriptive,
using a technique for collecting data literature, the non-participant observation and application
of a questionnaire with civil servants of the municipal health secretary Serra Branca-PB. The
results show that the factors of motivation to work more evident are the "satisfaction with
career development", regarding the opportunities to develop new skills, as well as "training
activities", "satisfaction with management "and" management system ", ie the way
organizations organize and reward individual and collective efforts, organizational posture
cope with change and modernization, as well as satisfaction with working conditions.
