Resumo:
Permanent education has a fundamental principle of learning in the work
environment, in which knowledge and teaching go hand in hand in the daily life of the
service, and can be seen and understood as a complement in working life, a
proposal of actions that results in opportunities for professionals to improve more and
more from the individual search of each being. Team collaboration is fundamental to
make possible the development of permanent education in health, since in
partnership professionals can do searches collectively and in a balanced way. In the
Freirean conception, in order to educate, it is necessary to share knowledge through
dialogue, because besides knowing how to speak, an individual must also know how
to listen. The present research aimed to identify the practices of permanent
education in health developed by nurses of Basic Health Care. This is a descriptive
study with a qualitative approach. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative
approach. Data collection was done by interviewing 14 nurses, in a reserved place,
by the researcher responsible after the approval of the Research Ethics Committee
of the Federal University of Campina Grande/Teacher Training Center (UFCG-CFP).
A semi-structured interview script was applied containing objective questions that
aimed to characterize the demographic and professional profile of the sample and
subjective questions about the proposed theme. The analysis of the data was done
through organization and transcription, through the Content Analysis proposed by
Laurence Bardin, being discussed according to the pertinent literature. This study
addressed the ethical issues of Resolution 466/12 and was evaluated and approved
by the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Cajazeiras under
CAAE: 86174218.2.0000.5575. The following categories were identified: perception
about PEH, participation of PEH practices, nurses as a multiplier of PEH practices in
BHC and intervening factors for PEH practices. PEH is an important method for the
improvement of the services performed by the BHC teams, taking into account its
exercise based on the needs found in each work environment. Professionals
recognize the need of PEH and to participate in actions based on it, even if it does
not occur as often as they would like. The intervening factors to PEH actions that
were reported as hindering were structure, time, users and disinterest. When asked
about facilitating factors, interest and interaction between the team were mentioned,
which can be considered intertwined, considering that both refer to a good
interpersonal relationship between team members. The data found with the study
confirm the relevance of it to the participants, who may have the opportunity to
identify their mistakes and to improve their work, as well as other professionals and
students in the health area, for serving as a subsidy so that they can identify and/or
avoid failures when acting in the scenario studied.
