Abstract:
The present work addresses a very recurrent problem in the studies about a relationship between family and school, since they are the two main responsible for the formative-educational process of children and adolescents. In this sense, this research seeks to understand how family education can influence school performance and, consequently, its formative process. With this aim were collected, through questionnaires and interviews, the data referred to several aspects of the family education of students of the 9th grade (ninth) year of the Municipal School of Primary Education Deputy Evaldo Gonçalves, located in Sumé-PB. Users of the qualitative-quantitative research, characterized by the case study, which aimed to describe and correlate the data collected. The end result is a general, important and important process for the parents' commitment to the child / student formation process.Thus, the issue of the relationship is essential to begin an argument for the purpose of guiding the family and the direction of advances in the formation of young people.
