Resumen:
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is regulated in the Brazilian scenario as a policy
of the unified health system, and Lian Gong (LG) one of their practices. Which are bodily
exercises to prevent, treat and promote health. This way, the objective meet the impacts in the
worker’s health Lian Gong in 18 clinical Therapies about vital parameters, pain and stress
related to worker’s. It is a quasi-experimental, quantitative study, intervention, with 15 service
providers of a public University. We used three data collection instruments, one for evaluation
of clinical parameters, one for occupational stress assessment (scale of stress at work-TSE)
and another one to record complaints of work-related musculoskeletal pain (Corlett Diagram-
DC). The practice dates from LG were performed on-site, at the end of the day, three times a
week for two months, totalizing 40 sections, that occurred in the period from March to May,
2015. Clinical evaluations were performed and application of TSE and DC were done in the
situations before and after LG. The variables analyzed were: blood pressure (BP), weight
(weight), pulse (P), heart rate (HR), respiratory (FR), oxygen saturation (SAT O2), existence
and degree of occupational stress and intensity and location of musculoskeletal pain
complaints. The data obtained were analyzed in the statistical program SPSS version 22.0,
subjected to descriptive statistics and Flagged Posts test of Wilcoxon, being considered
significant when p < 0.05. The results revealed that the LG improved all clinical parameters,
with significance about the reductions in overall weight (pré-LG = 66,200 g; pós-LG = 63,900
g), P (pré - LG = 76ppm; pós - LG = 72ppm) and FR (pré - LG = 19rpm; pós - LG = 18rpm);
reduced stress high 19.7% of the subjects, eliminated the average stress in 13.3% of
participants and increased the percentage of workers without stress (33.5%); reduced cervical
pain (p = 0.03), lumbar (p = 0.03) and knees (p = 0.01) and eliminated in the other threads. It
is evidenced that the Lian Gong promotes overall health and to use it as a therapeutic practice
in the universe work contributes to the promotion of workers' health.
