Resumen:
The present study approaches the educational acts for the teenagers’ empowerment about depression with the general objective of enabling the teenagers’ empowerment about depression through educational actions. This study has a descriptive nature with a qualitative approach, which was permeated by the action research methodology. It was carried a social research followed by the execution of interventions as a possibility to solve the problem, besides the use of the Collective Subject Discourse method to analyze the interviews. The research was developed in four stages which consisted of situational diagnosis, intervention planning, implementation and evaluation. The initial analysis for the diagnosis revealed weaknesses relevant to depression in the participants' discourse such as facing school difficulties, bullying and family problems, among others. Thus it was possible to carry out the planning and execution of three meetings to carry out educational activities with the use of dynamics and methodologies that provided the participation of those involved, the group's dialogue and, consequently, the construction of knowledge, which was evidenced in the fourth stage, in the actions’ evaluation, which expressed the benefits achieved with educational actions. Thus, educational acts turned up positive as a possibility for the teenagers’ empowerment about depression, becoming relevant the use of this type of methodology to carry out future researches.
