Resumo:
This research discusses, from the reading of the work Dois Irmãos (2000), by the Amazonian contemporary writer Milton Hatoum how it is possible to work the novel in full considering the reception in front of the themes present in the work, the difficulties presented in the reading process and the experience with an experience Aesthetics in the classroom. Our experiment consists of three chapters: in the first one we seek to emphasize the importance of literary reading for the affective and effective development of the human being, the significance of the horizon of expectations in order to establish a good reading; The second chapter is dedicated to the study of some subjects such as jealousy, rivalry, incest, socioeconomic condition, exile and woman in the novel Dois Irmãos; In the third and last chapter we present the experiences of the novel in the classroom. From the methodological point of view, a research was carried out on literary reading and conception of the aesthetic experience, having as support the reflections of Jouve (2002), Jauss (1978), Zilberman (1998) Compagnon (2001), among others. On the thematic aspects addressed in the work we use the concepts of Bosi (2007), Freud (1989/1996), Hall (2003) and other scholars. We use the Journal of Reading from the perspective of Machado (2007) because we understand that this instrument has as a function a dialogue between the reader and the work being read. The realization of an experiment with young people of a public school indicated that it is possible to work a literary text in its entirety, that the readers managed to experience the production, perception and communication of the literary work, also showed the necessity of a methodological work differentiated, Which escapes the models consecrated by textbooks. The work presupposes that the reading of works with legitimated aesthetic quality is relevant to human development, that literary reading manages to establish references that allow the reader to organize psychic experiences lived or not, organize and / or reorganize feelings, establish a bridge between Fiction and reality in the way we see the world.
