Resumo:
This monograph has the purpose of analyzing the significant appearance of the statements of
multimodal text in the tests of the National High School Exam, between the years 2010 and
2013. As well as, from the analysis of the collected corpus, highlight the importance of uniqueness
of the communicative act present in the verb-visual texts, highlighting the relevance
between the verb-visual language and what seeks the questioning made to the clientele which
intended this test. In addition, we associate the coherent dialogue between image and word in the
constitution of the meaning of the analyzed texts. In theoretical terms, this work only becomes
possible because it is anchored in the study proposals of literacy, multi-literacy and
Multimodality theory.
