Resumo:
The nutritional transition caused especially by increase consumption of foods with tenor caloric and the decrease practice of exercises physicists has if associate to increase at prevalence of overweight and obesity in the population, especially in children and adolescents. In this scenario, the education feed nutrition comes up as an alternative to promote cheers, which finality it is develop at population the capacity to reflect about your behavior to feed, and possible of transformation and the recovery of habits feeds traditional. Therefore, it is aimed evaluate the influence of education feed nutritional on the stato nutritional status and consumption feed of school system network in theaching of city of Cuité-PB. In the case of study in intervention prospective not controlled with approach descriptive, the investigation developed between the months of March to May 2016 and the population of study was consisted of students in the age group of 6 to 10 years of network public in the city. Were conducted assessment of status nutritional of schools and food consumption feed before and after an intervention with practices education nutritional conducted an turn per week. The datas were analyzed using software SPSS version 21.0 and presented by means of proportions, means and standard deviations (SD), as well as through tables contingency. Of the 14 school evaluated the majority were male (78.6%). Of these 7.1% were overweight and 92.8% eutrophic status nutritional status, the school did not change in the status nutritional status and post-intervention food consumption. Nutritional food education is an important strategy to improve knowledge in relation to food and nutrition, but the further research in this area to prove its influence in relation to nutritional status and food consumption is required.
