Resumo:
Drug use has increased in the world causing more damage to the user and society. As social order problem, it is needed interventions that prevent the early use and addiction as the frequent use of these substances causes death, disease, abortions, traffic accidents, murder, and attempted homicides. The nurses of the Family Health Strategy, in their daily activities, are able to intervene with individuals who use drugs through guidance, awareness and listening. Accordingly, the research aims to analyze the nurse's actions in the Family Health Strategy, addressing the user of legal drugs. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach conducted with 12 nurses tied to Basic Health Units in the city of Cajazeiras - PB. The data were collected in February 2015 through guided semistructured script interview. After the collection, the data were fully transcribed in text form. It was held a carefully read of the speeches, then it were organized and separated by themes and categories, followed by their respective subcategories. In the analysis and interpretation of the data was used a thematic analysis technique. The research was approved with opinion No. 941.599 by the Ethics in Research Committee of Teacher Education Center of Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). It was identified a demand of users of moderated, imperceptible and diverse kinds of legal drugs. Prevention and health promotion are developed, the recognition of the territory and the performance in the rest of the team. Among the mentioned partnerships, underscored the CAPS AD, citing other relevant services as well as the NASF and SAMU. Only one subject of the sample reported not trigger any partnership. The detected potential were the orientation and the interest of professionals. Among the limits it was detected resistance from users, workers with lack of knowledge, and lack of cooperation from managers. We conclude that the nursing professional recognizes the existence of a demand of users who need an effective service. However, their actions are restricted by the fact that there are many limits that can only be overcome when governments give more importance to the case, and this issue be better addressed in undergraduate nursing courses.
