Résumé:
The field of sportive nutrition has grown substantially and, recently, there are no questions that the nutrition is essential for sportive performance. Considering that athletes present distinct nutritional necessities from sedentary individuals or moderately active, it is questioned the adequation of food consumption in face of established recommendations. In this way, the present study evaluated the food consumption of amateurs fisiculturists from the city of Cuité, in order to know their feeding and nutritional profiles. The research consists of a transversal study of descriptive and quantitative analysis, which was composed by a sample of six athletes, being five of masculine gender and one of feminine gender, with age group from 19 to 31 years old. The information about anthropometry showed that the weight average, height and body fat percentual were 72,37 kg, 1,68m and 11,81%, respectively. The results of dietetic evaluation, obtained through software Avanutri®, they indicated that the eating habits of athletes do not include the principle of a balanced diet, as they are inadequate in the face of recommendations made to the sport, especially in the content of macronutrients, which have high intake of protein to replace carbohydrates. The micronutrients, that contacted the zinc and vitamins D, B1, B2, B6, found themselves possibly appropriate. It was observed that 66,67% (n=4) of the interviewed use supplementation and only one of the athletes mentioned the consumption by nutritionist indication. In this context, it perceives the necessity of nutritional individualized orientation and monitoring for adequation of feeding habits in order to supply the nutritional exigencies of the modality and, hence, acquire improvement in the sportive performance.
