Abstract:
The Bolsa Família program (PBF) is the main combat program of famine and poverty in Brazil. The program has three actuation lines: First, income transfer, of emergencial nature for poverty alleviation, the second actuation line is the basic rights assurance to health and education through the program conditions and the third, the incorporation of complementary programs aimed to family users from Bolsa Familía to assure in a long term the prevention of poverty perpetuation in the following generations. In this way, the program covers low wage families, transferring the financial resources to a family member, preferably, from feminine gender, thus the woman becomes card right holder and it is her responsibility to answer economically and socially to her dependents family members. Thus, the present study intends to identify the influence of Bolsa Família program in the life of women right holders concerning feed and autonomy, in the city of Cuité-PB. It is a qualitative transversal study of descriptive character, which had the sample identification from a longitudinal character of previous research. Participated in the interview nine women with age ranging from 24 to 60 years old, single in their majority, with biologic sons and other family dependents. It was learned that the program actuation has possibilited perceived changes in the life of women. Stimulating to a suffering memories reflections prior to be holder of the Bolsa Família Program, but after the financial resources acquisition, presented improvements, through the certainty of this monthly allowance, becoming possible the autonomy exercise in the family and personal decisions, besides of increasing self-steam, better work and study opportunities. It was observed that the perception of being women still presents feminization traces of caring act, allied to a notion of plenitude in the motherhood. In other hand, it was verified a woman conception that places the feminine gender in highlight as being determined and fighter. Furthermore, it was found that financial acquisition allows an increasing in food choices and modification of eating habits with insertion of healthy food and yet the inclusion of industrialized food considered cheapest, but detrimental to health. In light of this, it becomes

necessary to highlight the importance of public policies implementation which might propose a broader discussion about the challenges faced by the feminine gender holders of Bolsa Família Program, as well as the strategies promotions of food and nutritional education to conduct to the autonomy exercise in the construction of a healthy alimentation.
