Uma abordagem qualitativa sobre a assistência farmacêutica no município de Cachoeira dos Índios-PB.

Abstract

This work analyzes the current Pharmaceutical Assistance model in the municipality of Cachoeira dos Índios / PB, from a survey of the Municipal Health Plan data and comparing the public policies of Pharmaceutical Assistance, as well as evaluating the managers opinion on the model prevailing in the city. The production of information was given from the data collection in the Municipal Health Plan and the National Pharmaceutical Assistance Policy; has subsequently been conducted an interview with the Municipal Secretary of Health and the President of the Municipal Council of Health. The interview was analyzed using Bardin methodology, through content analysis, generating results that demonstrate the lack of knowledge, human and financial resources that generate very negative results in the healthcare model. Data analysis reveals the lack of preparation especially in the planning of pharmaceutical services, thus compromising the whole process. Faced with the above results, it is clear that the municipality needs adjustments in health planning, by running the management of pharmaceutical services in order to meet local needs.
