Abstract:
Some sectors and organizations guide the need for policies to redesign the approach of food systems in order to promote health and sustainability of the planet. This scenario shows the need to develop food and nutrition education activities (NEA). The spaces and actors that develop NEA actions go beyond health services. This study aimed to carry out an analysis of actions of this nature, developed this non-formal education space in the city of Cuité / PB, between 2014 and 2016. The research was characterized as descriptive document type. The corpus was made up of the activity logs produced during the term. Data were analyzed by the methodology of content analysis, which involved a comparison of activities with the principles of NEA proposed by Marco de referência de educação alimentar e nutricional para as políticas públicas. A total of 66 records were recovered. It is noticed that the NEA actions include all the guiding principles established by Marco. The formant is group from the two principles in question: the cooking while emancipatory practice and promotion of self-care and empowerment through dance practice. All other principles were structural to the consolidation of activities involved with the group, its reality as well as the consolidation of a reflection on the power in its full sense. weaknesses is denoted as the monitoring of actions. These results may support NEA groups seeking ways to analyze their practices over time and show the need for a multidisciplinary dialogue in training nutritionist.
