Résumé:
With the objective of innovate the teaching-learning process, using the interdisciplinarity as main pedagogical strategy, the Chemistry is presented here as a tool to be used in applying the lessons of Biology discipline. This work was performed at EEEM Orlando Venâncio dos Santos school (Cuité - PB), and had as target public students of the 1st and 2nd years of high school, in order to elucidate the relationship between Chemistry and Biology, from the viewpoint of themselves. In this context, a research was carried out in three stages: a diagnosis, through a questionnaire directed to the target public of this proposal in order to know the profile of the student in the research environment; performing experiments in worked classes, in order to develop and promote strategies that allow the student to understand the Biology discipline when the Chemistry is present. A new questionnaire was also applied in order to evaluate whether the application of the experiments have contributed to a better understanding of the biology discipline contents boarded in classroom. The results show that the students are interested in executing laboratory experiments and better understand the contents boarded by the experimental lessons. It was clear that the students participating in this research have gone from mere spectators to actors in the learning process. From these results, it is visible to the teacher/mediator must seek alternatives through practices that help the contextualization of theory with practice, to better student learning.
