Resumo:
One of the problems that more they are discussed in the automobile industry environment
is the handling and comfort of vehicles in highways with adverse terrain. Both problems are
related to the suspension systems and how they can react inside in certain situations within their
operation limits. In this work the results of two mathematical models of suspension systems with
seven degrees of freedom each, being one of the passive type and other a suspension system
activates are compared. The systems are simulate in a digital process that creates an excitement
sign that can be applied in the mathematical model in various ways. The results obtained him,
always comparing the two suspension systems in same adversity conditions, show that the
systems of the active type present a better reaction to the coming signs of the profile of the
terrain.
