Abstract:
The varied cultural transformations and paradigms that modern society has undergone lead to changes in the way of man to understand and act in the world scientifically. It is vital that the methods of teaching science also undergo changes to keep up with this changing world, because they are fundamental to personal and social development. Many studies highlight the need for changes in the teaching of science, but what is observed is still the use of routine and mechanical methods, where new teaching proposals little repercussions in the classroom. Faced with this worrying picture, this study uses the playful as an important methodological tool to make teaching more attractive and pleasurable Sciences. Therefore, recreational activities related to the content of invertebrates were developed in a group of 7th grade of elementary school II in E.E.E.F. M Jose Luiz Neto in Barra de Santa Rosa- PB. Also a literature search on the topic was held. Following, there was a survey of science and biology teachers allowing extensive discussion of the work. According to the results we can conclude that the playfulness is a differentiated and motivating methodology that promotes meaningful learning enjoyable way for students. The classes help to create an atmosphere of excitement about the topics content, motivating and inclusive manner. The realization of these activities depends on motivated teachers, excited students, a teaching plan and a physical structure which will carry out these activities. In this way, the play activities proposed are important methodological tools in the acquisition of scientific knowledge.
