Resumen:
This study was designed to identify the concepts of combinatorics and the problems that emerge in game situations, the use of different oral and written languages in teaching mathematics. The research has qualitative approach seeks to understand what is revealed in a pedagogical work with students of the 8th grade of elementary school made from the perspective of questioning to answer the research question "What are the contributions of developed games in a problem-based practice in the development of combinatorial and probabilistic concepts of 8th graders of elementary school II?" The objectives are to identify the ideas of combinatorics and probability arising from oral and written language process, having as context the questioning in the classroom and seek indicative of the contribution of a study of games for the development of combinatorial and probabilistic concepts. For this was developed games "password: ABC mode" and "Horse Racing" in the classroom context. The study subjects were 27 students of the 8th year of elementary school, aged between 12 and 18 years. The data were analyzed qualitatively, the results showed that the game context students observed various possibilities and reflections for an improvement or development of game strategies, and consequently the development of concepts of combinatorics and probability.
