Abstract:
The reuse of water is an old process in our reality, due to the scarcity of rainfall that occurs in the semiarid and arid regions. The water reuse is of utmost importance for our survival and non-awareness of the situation can become more critical. The methodology adopted for this study was an experimental study conducted at the Water Analysis Laboratory (LAAG), together with the CCTA (Center for Agri-Food Science and Technology) at UFCG, campus Pombal. The collections were carried out in empty mineral water bottles a total of 03 samples of septic tank wastewater, then were taken to the CCTA for physical-chemical analysis, where the following parameters were evaluated: Color, Temperature, Oxygen Demand, pH, Electrical Conductivity, Biochemical Oxygen Demand and Turbidity. The data obtained in this experiment were submitted to analysis of variance. In the results found, the pH within the normal range established by CONAMA Resolution No. 357, electrical conductivity, an extremely important parameter to determine and control the quality and state of water, dissolved oxygen, which serves to measure in the field, were observed. In order to observe the biochemical and biological conditions of water, the color used to control the color of the water and the temperature that varies according to climate variations. Therefore, we can observe that the reuse of sewage in agriculture is of great relevance in our region.
