Resumen:
In spite of the recent advances in the human-computer interaction field, there is a lack of compatibility between the cognitive and functional representation of the user task. Therefore this work reviews the state of the art in terms of task analysis and closely examines two formalisms in the context of task analysis and description. The first formalism is MAD (“Méthode Analytique de Description”) proposed specifically to support the task analysis. The second formalism, developed for another context, TAOS (Task and Action Oriented System) was validated in this work as an adequate tool for user task analysis and representation in the interface design process.
